Tokyo's The Apartment has steadily built a reputation as the go-to spot for New Balance enthusiasts. Over the years, its collection has become synonymous with some of the brand’s most coveted releases. The Apartment's well-crafted collaborations with New Balance have solidified their mark on the sneaker world, and this legacy continues with their latest offering, the 576 Made in UK pack. Channeling inspirations from the pulsating cities of Tokyo and New York during the '90s, this release is a nod to style and craftsmanship.
Dive into the details, and one can instantly recognize the impeccable Made in UK craftsmanship. Comprising two distinct colorways, the Green hue takes inspiration from the exotic Agave Titanota plant. This rendition boasts buttery-smooth leather and is adorned with tan hits on the sockliner and sole unit, while a luscious creamy tone engulfs the remaining upper. Contrastingly, the Brown colorway pays tribute to a sought-after Japanese-exclusive 576 from the golden '90s era. This variation perfectly blends brown leather with grey hairy suede, embodying the rugged feel of city asphalt. As a nod to the collaboration, both sneakers come embossed with The Apartment branding on the insole and tongue tag. And, of course, each shoe retains the classic New Balance branding. The signature 576 cushioning sits beneath, all wrapped in harmonizing hues, finalizing the design.
The Apartment x New Balance 576 Made in UK Pack will release November 4, 2023, through The Apartment, while a wider release via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store will come at a later date. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
