thisisneverthat, the Korean-based streetwear label has partnered with leading brands across the footwear industry. While we are all still awaiting release information regarding the brand’s leaked New Balance 1000 project, thisisneverthat has just announced a new collaboration with Dr. Martens on the 1460 and 1461 silhouettes.

Retaining the design DNA and heritage that runs deep within Dr. Martens’ extensive boots catalog, both pairs in thisisneverthat’s collab appear almost GR-like. The 1461, a low-top shoe, takes on a premium all-leather construction on the upper in a black finish, while contrasts are found on metallic silver hardware on the three-eyestay lacing setup. Debossed branding for Dr. Martens and thisisneverthat is located back on the lateral heel, a feature also found on the 1460 boot.

For the 1460 boot, a patinaed, antique-looking waxed full-grain leather in a brown finish constructs most of the upper, while antique metallic brass hardware adds to the vintage aesthetic. Branding for both labels is also found on the tongue and insole of the 1461 and the 1460. Underfoot, each pair comes with the instantly recognizable Dr. Martens Air-cushion sole unit in black with yellow contrast stitching.

The thisisneverthat x Dr. Martens Pack will release through thisisneverthat online and in-store. The drop will take place on January 24, 2025, at 8 AM in Korea, which, when adjusted to a US timezone, puts the release at 6 PM ET on January 23, 2025. Available in men’s sizing, the 1461 retails for $150 and the 1460 for $180.
