Melbourne's UP THERE Store, known for its carefully curated selection of premium streetwear and sneakers and collaborations with brands like New Balance and Asics, has joined forces with the esteemed French maritime-inspired label ArmorLux for an exclusive capsule collection. This collaboration marries UP THERE's keen eye for contemporary fashion with ArmorLux's rich heritage in producing high-quality, nautically inspired garments.
This limited-edition capsule showcases UP THERE's modern aesthetic fusion with ArmorLux's traditional techniques, highlighted by a signature graphic split tee in UP THERE green. This standout piece is crafted using ArmorLux's iconic circular knitting machines, ensuring a unique fabric quality that's soft to the touch yet durable. Additionally, the collection introduces a new dimension of texture with a jacquard woven grid pattern, adding a subtle yet sophisticated detail to the already standout design. Alongside these split designs, the duo has crafted monochrome white and black tees with an embroidered logo for both brands.
To celebrate the launch, UP THERE will host a special in-store event at their Melbourne CBD location, featuring a culinary creation by Madeleine de Proust. The “Matcha Dream” Madeleine, inspired by the collaboration and UP THERE's signature green, pays homage to the French traditions that influence both UP THERE and ArmorLux.
The UP THERE x ArmorLux collection will release April 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM AEDT (April 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM ET), through UP THERE online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail prices for the clothing have not been announced.
