Nike Made a $630 Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball Glove Limited to 240 Units

The Swingman logo may not be AS iconic as the Jumpman logo, but those who grew up in the era of Ken Griffey Jr. know how important he was to baseball. Even years removed from his retirement (let's try to forget his time with the Cincinnati Reds), Nike still honors the legendary MLB player through footwear releases and apparel drops but is soon set to give baseball players an ultra-exclusive equipment drop.
Featuring the same color palette as the Air Griffey Max 1 in the Freshwater colorway, a nod to Griffey's Seattle Mariners, the leather glove is primarily black with freshwater accents on the leather weave and lining of the fingers. The woven leather around the glove basket is entirely covered in this freshwater hue, matching the leather buckle strap around the collar. Red and white accents pop on the 3D Nike Swoosh, while we see nods to Griffey, "24," and "Junior," embroidered in white.
Ken’s Swingman logo is applied to the palm of the globe in a cracked metallic silver finish. As mentioned, the glove, which comes in a left and right-hand version, is limited to 240 units, with each glove numbered inside.
