In the latest addition to their esteemed collaborative efforts, A Ma Maniere and Jordan Brand present a new chapter in their Air Jordan saga with the unveiling of the Air Jordan 3 Retro in a Black Violet Ore colorway, exclusively for women. This release follows the success of the original A Ma Maniere AJ3 and will be launching alongside another AJ3 in Summit White. On top of the Jordan 3, another project on the Jordan 4 is in the works.
Set against a canvas of rich, black tumbled leather, this AJ3 features violet ore accents that provide a luxurious contrast, exuding elegance and sophistication. The use of perforated nubuck on the collar and eyestays introduces a layer of depth and texture, further emphasized by the violet ore hue that extends to the nubuck tongue, adorned with either a Jumpman logo or A Ma Maniere's distinct A branding. Departing from the traditional elephant print, this iteration opts for premium hairy suede on the mudguard and heel overlays, enhancing the sneaker's premium feel and aesthetic. The design is completed with a black and sail midsole, coupled with a violet ore rubber outsole, marrying classic elements with modern craftsmanship.
The A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 Retro OG SP While You Were Sleeping W was originally set to release on July 18, 2024. After a small delay, they will drop on August 20, 2024, exclusively via The Whitaker Group in-store and online. A Nike SNKRS Exclusive Access release took place on August 21 with a wider release at Nike on the 27th and select retailers on the 28th. Available in women’s sizing, the sneaker will retail for $250.
