Action Bronson has solidified his place as a rapper and chef and a significant figure in the sneaker world through his collaborations with New Balance. His past releases on the 990v6 and 1906R models have been met with tremendous success, selling out quickly and fetching premium prices on the resale market. While these collaborations have primarily focused on lifestyle silhouettes, Bronson is now venturing into the performance side of New Balance with his latest project: the Action Bronson x New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 Foxtrot. This directional change marks a new chapter in his partnership with the brand, which also sees a collab on the Minimus Trail.
The Action Bronson x New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 Foxtrot showcases a vibrant and functional design, perfect for athletic performance and street style. The sneaker features an engineered mesh upper, predominantly covered in a coral shade, offering a bold look and enhancing breathability thanks to strategically placed thinner knit patterns. The black tongue is a contrasting element, adorned with a green Action Bronson-branded tongue tag, while grey laces add a subtle touch of neutrality to the design. A large yellow N logo highlights the midfoot, maintaining New Balance’s classic branding, while additional NB Rebel branding is found on the heel. The sneaker is anchored by a geometric midsole featuring FuelCell foam cushioning in a grey hue, delivering responsive comfort and support. This cushioning is paired with a black and blue outsole equipped with longitudinal pods, ensuring superior grip and stability during use.
The Action Bronson x New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 Foxtrot will release November 1, 2024 through Action Bronson’s website and potentially via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Pricing details have yet to be announced. Keep it locked to the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
