adidas is going hard with their Kobe Bryant line in 2022. Already set to release is the Crazy 97 EQT in “All-Star” and “Dunk Contest” themes. Now you can add the adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine” to that list. Originally released in 2000 under the name The Kobe, the Crazy 1 was the first signature sneaker named after Kobe Bryant. After Kobe left adidas for Nike, his line was not forgotten. Instead, it has been re-released numerous times in various colorways, all under the “Crazy” line.
The adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine” edition is as OG as it gets. Worn by Kobe over twenty-two years ago, now fans new and old will have the chance to do the same. Coming in sunshine yellow and black, the Audi TT-inspired design features an all-yellow upper with black accents. Dark Grey covers the AdiPRENE+ cushioned Torsion System midsole which sits atop a black rubber outsole.
The adidas Crazy 1 Sunshine is set to release on April 15th, 2022 in Europe. A wider release for the rest of the world is set for December 10th, 2022. The sneaker will restock on August 1, 2023. It will launch at adidas as well as select retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price set at $150.
