White Black Dresses This adidas Crazy 97

While today the sneaker world is fiending for new Nike Kobe releases, his former partners at adidas have quietly been retroing silhouettes that the Black Mamba rocked during the early days of his legendary NBA career. Most notably seen with the adidas Crazy 1 (and its upcoming redesign), The Three Stripes is taking us all back to 1997 with a clean “White Black” rendition of the adidas Crazy 97.
Coming in its classic leather and mesh construction, the majority of the upper takes on white leather with accenting hits of black, purple, and gold seen throughout. Gold hues appear via the vamps nylon eyestay, the Crazy 97 logo and Three Stripes branding atop the tongue, and via the adidas Equipment lenticular print logo on the midfoot. More Three Stripes branding is visible near the midfoot as well with white leather stripes sitting atop the black mesh base while nearby the aforementioned adidas EQT logo comes piped with purple leather. Rounding out the upper is the black tongue, lace set, and heel tab while the wavy adiPRENE+ midsole comes in white. Finishing the entire sneaker is the black rubber outsole below.
The adidas Crazy 97 White Black is set to release in 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
