The adidas Crazy IIInfinity Metallic Gold Releases Holiday 2023
Published
The adidas Crazy series has always been emblematic of ingenuity and innovation in the sneaker world, previously the signature sneaker line for none other than Kobe Bryant. With the line's legacy pulsating through the decades, adidas unveiled the Crazy IIInfinity at the NBA All-Star Weekend in February 2023. Although initially introduced in the "White Black" colorway, more colorful renditions, including a "Metallic Gold," are emerging.
The Crazy IIInfinity "Metallic Gold," much like the recently revealed “Metallic Silver,” is a testament to adidas' commitment to merging classical aesthetics with contemporary touches. Taking cues from the iconic Audi TT Roadster, the silhouette boasts a design reminiscent of the original adidas Crazy 1. Dominating the sneaker's profile is a shimmering metallic gold foam, elegantly debossed with the iconic Three Stripes. This glimmering design is offset with dark grey rubberized panels on the toe box, subtly featuring the Three Stripe branding. In contrast, the heel sports a softer tannish shade. Ascending the design, a mesh shroud secured with a zipper obscures portions of the tongue and collar, shrouding the black lace set beneath. This intricacy is complemented by the embroidered Three Stripes on the center of the tongue. Grounding this art piece is the EVA-cushioned midsole, harmoniously paired with a dark grey rubber outsole with a traction pattern similar to the OG adidas Crazy 1.
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity Metallic Gold will release Holiday 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
