While Nike undoubtedly dominates the basketball market, adidas firmly holds the reins in soccer. As the official kit supplier for all 29 MLS teams, adidas has been integral in shaping soccer culture in the US through their footwear and training apparel. adidas is set to build on this legacy by releasing a new MLS-themed collection of the iconic Gazelle silhouette, featuring designs inspired by five different clubs: Portland Timbers, Inter Miami, LA Galaxy, Los Angeles FC, and Kansas City.
The adidas Gazelle MLS Pack showcases each team's colors on the classic Gazelle model. The upper of each shoe features suede details on the T-shaped toe overlay, base layer, and eyestays, offering a premium feel. Complementing the suede, the Three Stripes, sockliner, and heel tab come in high-quality leather. Team branding is prominently displayed on the heel tab, with the respective city’s name, while the insole features each team’s logo. This thoughtful detailing ensures that fans can show their support in style. Completing the design is a crisp white midsole and a matching tonal outsole, providing a clean and timeless look.
The adidas Gazelle MLS Pack will release on July 16, 2024, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
