After the first re-releases of the Gil Zero, the “UNDRCRWN” collab and the “Hibachi” edition, adidas is bringing back the "USA" colorway, updated in the Restomod form. The low-top basketball sneaker was once worn by Gilbert Arenas, the former NBA star and current basketball analyst on social media.
This USA colorway fits the title well with a base of white throughout the leather upper and rubber midsole, broken up by red and blue accents. The red Three Stripes branding wrapping from the outsole up to the midsole with the blue strap and patent leather hits on the tongue, mudguard and heel complete the sneakers ode to the American flag. Compared to the original release back in 2006, the 2022 rendition is identical in appearance but features updated materials to provide better comfort to the wearer.
The adidas Gil Zero Restomod USA is expected to drop February 1st, 2022 with a retail price of $140. It will be released through adidas.com and select retailers. To stay up to date on upcoming raffles and releases including the Gil Zero, follow our Twitter and download our mobile app.
