James Harden and adidas continue redefining performance basketball sneakers with their latest creation, the Harden Vol. 8. Following the divisive Harden Vol. 7, the Vol. 8 brings a fresh, innovative design bound to garner attention on and off the court. So far, we’ve seen Harden and others wear the sneakers on the basketball court. Now, detailed images of one of the launch colorways have emerged.
This new iteration of the Harden line maintains the core elements that have made the series a favorite among players, with a focus on performance and style. The White Black Scarlet edition of the Harden Vol. 8 exhibits a harmonious blend of colors and materials. The sneaker features a black knit base, providing a comfortable and secure fit. A standout element is the large white foam overlay on the midfoot, designed for aesthetic appeal and functional support, featuring a distinctive cutout in the center. The heel is reinforced with a sturdy TPU material for added stability, and the collar is equipped with convenient pull tabs for ease of wear.
The midsole of the Harden Vol. 8 showcases a dynamic combination of white, black, and scarlet hues. This design element is not just for looks; it houses the latest adidas cushioning technology. Boost is present, likely Jet Boost, and it’s also possible we will see a secondary cushioning tech utilized. The outsole mirrors the color scheme of the midsole and ensures reliable traction on the court.
The adidas Harden Vol. 8 White Black Scarlet has a tentative release date of February 2024. The pair will be available through adidas and select retailers online and in-store for $160.
