A variation of the adidas Crazy 1, which was initially the Kobe 1, the Mad IIInfinity has taken the look of a basketball shoe to another level. Launched as a part of their experimental “Mad” series, which began in the early 2000s, this sneaker represents the evolution of basketball footwear towards more technologically advanced and visually daring designs. Its sleek, angular lines and dynamic shapes are inspired by futuristic architecture and modern tech innovations, with intricate detailing that suggests speed and power. The upper of the adidas Mad IIInfinity Dark Brown is constructed from various layers of premium mesh, synthetic leather, and suede. The minimalist look is apparent with minimal branding, sans the small EQT motifs, one on the reflective 3M back heel tab and the other embroidered on the suede overlay that secretes the lace set within. Varying shades of brown are daubed across the sneaker, with a dark brown section of mesh running along the midfoot contrasted by a lighter hue of earth strata for the TPU strip that runs from heel to toe. The instantly recognizable chunky midsole encases Lightstrike Pro technology, with a chocolate brown rubber outsole applied underfoot for extra grip.
