The adidas Mexico de Oro Collection is Available Now

With the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup underway, Mexico is making a bold statement both on and off the pitch. adidas, who has sponsored the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación, A.C. (FMF) since 2007, has officially launched the Mexico de Oro Collection, taking inspiration from Mexican heritage and the country’s cinematic golden age to celebrate the country’s rich cultural identity.
The collection's centerpiece is the striking new national team jersey, which reintroduces the iconic adidas Trefoil logo to the national team's kit for the first time in over three decades. The kit, dressed in black and gold, pays homage to Mexico's Golden Age of cinema — a period when Mexican films and actors captivated audiences worldwide and left a lasting mark on the country's cultural identity.
Gold accents shimmer against the all-black base, including a beautifully deconstructed version of the Mexico crest, reimagined to sit proudly alongside the Trefoil. Traditional Mexican elements are subtly woven into the design, with the collar and sleeve cuffs featuring detailing inspired by the timeless style of Mariachi suits — a nod to one of Mexico’s most beloved cultural symbols. Beyond the pitch, the Mexico de Oro Collection extends into a full lifestyle range. Fans can shop gold-accented tracksuits, hoodies, and a Samba, each designed to match the on-the-pitch apparel.
“For us, wearing this collection in the upcoming matches is an honor. Bringing the passion of soccer to an international stage is like being part of a movie in which our Mexican heritage is told, not only through a script, but via every step, pass and shot on the field,” said Ivar Sisniega, the president of the FMF. “We are thrilled that this collection captures all that our culture represents.”
The Mexico national team will debut the new kit on March 21 against Canada in the Concacaf Nations League semi-final, taking this cinematic-inspired look straight to the international stage. Fans can shop all of the adidas Mexico de Oro Collection below!
