As one of adidas' most iconic and recognizable silhouettes, the Samba has had a long history since transitioning off the pitch. Known for its versatile design and timeless aesthetic, the sneaker has been reinvented in numerous ways recently, including with Emily Olberg's Sporty And Rich. Now, adidas is set to drop the Lux Pack, featuring four colorways of the classic Samba silhouette in high-quality leather.
Each of the four colorways in the adidas Samba Lux Pack – “Almost Yellow,” “Sand Strata,” “Wonder Silver,” and “Wonder Quartz” – comes with monochromatic full-grain leather across its upper. This same premium leather covers the tongue and eyestays. The heel then features a contrasting white leather hit, while the sockliner comes in a smooth leather finish. Tonal stitching is found throughout the design, and the lace set stays tonal for each colorway. The Samba branding on the midfoot pops amongst the earthy color schemes, as it gets finished in a metallic silver shade. A semi-translucent clear midsole and outsole complete the look.
The adidas Samba Lux Pack will release in June through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is yet to be announced.
