Having a killer night in the NBA usually comes with crossing the 30-point mark, grabbing a handful of boards, and dishing out double-digit assists. For Donovan Mitchell, his performance on January 2nd against the Chicago Bulls was one for the history books as he tied Elgin Baylor and David Robinson for the sixth-most points ever scored in an NBA game and broke the franchise record for the Cavs for points scored in a game. On top of this, the league hasn’t seen a 70-plus point game since Devin Booker’s 70-point performance against the Celtics back in 2017. To celebrate this achievement, his partners at adidas (whom he’s been releasing signature sneakers with since 2019) have slashed prices for his latest silhouette to just $71.
On the night of this monster performance, Mitchell was sporting a pair of his adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 in the “Spider-Gwen” colorway, a pair that unfortunately didn’t drop in men’s sizing. Across the adidas website, however, any and all adidas D.O.N. Issue #4s are on sale for the aforementioned $71 with kid's pairs also getting a discount of up to 50% off. Looking back, The Three Stripes ran a similar promotion when Damian Lillard dropped 61 points in 2020 so it’s nice to see this tradition of adidas celebrating their athletes through sales events like this.
Act quickly as the $71 adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 promotion will only be available for a limited time.
