adidas Spezial Nods To The Past, Present, And Future For Its Pre-Spring Collection
The sneaker world is certainly no strange to adidas' Spezial line. Spearheaded by Gary Aspden, the series is world-renowned for breathing new life into old silhouettes, and the same can definitely be applied to the upcoming adidas Spezial February 2023 Collection. Inspired by the great outdoors, the range features a total of seven coveted colorways across a selection of six must-have models, both new and from the the archives. The result is an unmissable Pre-Spring capsule that thoroughly reminds us of the reasons why we fell in love with SPZL in the first place.
Kicking it all off is the Hochelaga from 2016 which is returning in two colorways inspired by the iconic Montreal. The Hartness, on the other hand, nods to running models from the 1980s, complete with a chunky exterior which takes cues from the ZX line, while the Arkesden seems to take influence from the German sportswear company's famed Campus. SPZL also has something special for all you gorpcore fans out there, including the Hiaven which acts as a spiritual successor to the ever-popular Winterhill, and the Newrad which is destined to be a future classic. To round off the February 2023 collection, the Denim Italia opts for a more fashion-forward approach, outfitting itself in a premium denim ensemble complete with tan leather detailing which adds to the '70s model's sartorial aesthetic.
If you want the adidas Spezial February 2023 Pre-Spring Collection in your rotation, as well as the accompanying apparel and accessories range, it's set to release on February 10th, 2023 in men's sizes. Expected to drop at adidas and select retailers online and in-store, the sneakers will retail between $120-$160, respectively.
