When Ye introduced the world to the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in 2016, we had no idea what the silhouette would have in store for us. Running 5 years strong without a successor in sight, we have seen countless colorways in similar tones and restocks galore. Now, following the reveal that adidas is selling Yeezy product once again, we have an official look at the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Carbon Beluga.”
The silhouette takes the classic colorway and infuses deeper blacks and greys compared to both the OG Beluga and 2.0. Along the lateral profile, a Beluga orange stripe with SPLY-350 branding runs down and veers towards the Frankenstein stitching in the center. Swirled throughout the primeknit upper in a zebra-like pattern is a mixture of black and grey with speckles of orange thread visible in between. Weaving in and out of the upper is a set of rope laces in a two-tone black and 3M reflective material. The sockliner and insole also get a darker treatment, this time around coming in black. Rounding out the look is the full-length Boost cushioning encapsulated by a semi-translucent black rubber midsole and outsole.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Carbon Beluga will release alongside a slew of Yeezy sneakers on May 31. Expect the drop to go down on either adidas Confirmed or adidas.com/yeezy. Releasing in men's sizing, pair will retail for $230. To stay on top of all things in the sneaker and streewear world, keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App.
