2022 has seen the return to the OG primeknit pattern that the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 became famous for. On top of the new “Dazzling Blue” Yeezy Boost 350 V2, the brand is returning to 2016 with the re-release of the “Oreo” colorway in March. Now pulling designs from the vault, a previously leaked sample colorway from 2017 is making its way to the public in the form of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Slate Core Black.”
Using the primeknit from early 350 V2 releases, the entire upper comes in an off-white beige look. Accenting this is the black lateral stripe with SPLY-350 branding coming in the same beige look as the base of the upper. Unlike most OG Yeezy Boost 350 V2s, the medial side appears in a monochromatic look with the zebra pattern tough to distinguish. Opting for the standard lacing system, tonal beige rope laces weave in and out of the Primeknit upper. Rounding out the look is the grey ridged semi-translucent rubber midsole and matching outsole, encasing the full-length Boost cushioning.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Slate Core Black is set to release on September 3rd, 2022 through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezysupply and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, expect men’s pairs to retail for $230.
