With fans fiending for an adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V3, Yeezy provided what essentially could be seen as a V3 with the “CMPCT” variant of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 last year. After the first two colorful “Slate Blue” and “Slate Red” looks, it seems the next iteration will keep the dark tone trend going with the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Carbon.”
While the 3D knit upper borrowed from the BSKTBL Knit comes covered in a majority black and grey look, weaved around the midfoot are hits of tan. Lacing opts for an infinity style system with the knit popping up to provide eyestays, also seen on the Yeezy 450. Coming more sock-like than your normal 350, extra padding is placed internally to hug your foot in place and provide extra comfort. Underfoot, the usual 350 V2 ridged rubber midsole and outsole appear in all-black, housing the full-length Boost cushioning system.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT Slate Carbon is set to release in May of 2022 through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezy Supply and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
