Being teased for years and going through countless prototypes, Yeezy and adidas finally delivered a performance basketball model with the adidas Yeezy QNTM in 2020. While dropping a lifestyle and performance version, the silhouette doesn’t have the same appeal as the rest of the Yeezy lineup, being found for under retail price on secondary markets. Out of nowhere we were given the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit to round out 2021. Now a new colorway for the model has emerged, the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit “Slate Azure.”
Constructed with a one piece 3D knit upper similar to the CMPCT 350 V2, the BSKTBL Knit stretches things out with a sock-like collar for ultimate lockdown. On this particular colorway, tan and grey shades make up the midfoot portion, transitioning into an “Azure” on the toe box. Borrowing the lacing system from the adidas Yeezy 450, the knit comes up to hold the black laces in place, working up midway through the collar. 3M hits come in the form of the silver heel counter and on the toe box. All of this is matched to a cream rubber midsole and blue outsole, housing the full-length BOOST cushioning system.
The adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit Slate Azure is scheduled to release in June 10th, 2022, through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com, YeezySupply and select Yeezy retailers worldwide. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $300. To stay updated on all things Yeezy and more, keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
