2022 has shown that clogs and slip-on silhouettes are the hottest silhouettes on the market. Looking to the one version that is often credited for popularizing the trend, the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR, we often get a mixup of monochromatic colors like the “Onyx” or “Sand” pairs in conjunction with a marbled colorway, like the “MX Carbon” or “MXT Moon Grey.” The latter of these two iterations has recently emerged in a brand new color way, dubbed "MX Cinder"
Following the split of the adidas Yeezy partnership, the release for this pair is finally going down as part of adidas' massive Yeezy drop on May 31.
Utilizing the ultra-comfortable EVA and algae foam composite, the one-piece slip-on clog features its typical design details throughout. Various perforations around the sneaker aid breathability with the large holes on the heel calling back to the sole unit of the Yeezy 700. For this particular colorway, a marbled “MX” effect is applied to the black base layer as brown and tan shades are featured from the heel towards the toe while the toebox itself receives a splash of sky blue. Like all MX colorways, the pattern on each pair is unique, making no two pairs alike. Rounding out the design is the wavy traction pattern with cut-outs featured on the foam outsole, carrying on the brown and tan marbled effect.
The adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR MX Cinder will release alongside a slew of Yeezy sneakers on May 31. Expect the drop to go down on either adidas Confirmed or adidas.com/yeezy. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $90. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest happenings in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
