Ye and his Yeezy brand have been in the headlines for the last few weeks with his Yeezy GAP line finally hitting store shelves and his appearance at Rolling Loud where he rocked an unreleased pair of sunglasses through his GAP line. While this partnership with the GAP is continuing to grow, his adidas sneaker line is preparing for its biggest day of the year with Yeezy Day less than a week away. After official images of the newly manufactured Yeezy 350 Turtle Dove surfaced, news came out showcasing a brand new Foam RNNR releasing for Yeezy Day, the "MX Carbon."
As with all "MX" Foam RNNR colorways, the one-piece EVA foam and algae composite gets a mixture of pinks, greens, greys, and white all throughout the silhouette. Black dresses the majority of the silhouette with swirls of the previously mentioned colors splattered from heel to toe, broken up by strategically placed ventilation holes that provide maximum breathability. The textured footbed helps keep your foot in place while also allowing for maximum comfort underfoot. On the outsole, a wavy traction pattern with cutouts to allow for the foam to expand is covered in the same MX pattern as the rest of the upper.
The adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR MX Carbon is slated to release on Yeezy Day, August 2nd, 2022 for the US and August 3rd for the EU and Asia, through either adidas Confirmed and/or Yeezy Supply. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $90.
