Though some call them “Yeezy Crocs”, the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR has continued to sell out instantly on release day and fetch a pretty penny on secondary considering the silhouettes low retail price of $90. With the Onyx colorway releasing in June alongside the Sand restock, Yeezy is squeezing one more Foam RNNR into the release calendar with the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR “Desert Sand”.
Similar to both the Foam RNNR Ochre and Yeezy Slide Desert Sand, the one-piece EVA and algae injected clog gets dressed in a monochromatic tan color. Around the silhouette, strategically mapped vents provide airflow and breathability, drawing inspiration from the Yeezy 700’s midsole on the heel's oval-shaped cutouts. Underfoot, the soft top layer of the footbed offers immediate comfort when worn. On the outsole, grooved ridges provide stability alongside cutouts to allow the foam to expand when steps are taken. On top of the algae harvesting technology, another sustainable feature of the silhouette comes in the form of the packaging that doubles as a shipping box, leading to less cardboard waste.
The adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR Desert Sand is set to release in June 2022 through adidas Confirmed, Yeezy Supply, and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in full family sizing, the retail price is set at $90 for men's pairs. To stay updated on the latest from Yeezy and more, keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App for future releases.
