When the Yeezy Slide was first launched in 2019, the silhouette wasn’t the hit it is today, actually sitting on Yeezy Supply for days. Those times are long gone as the foam slip-on is one of the hottest models on the market, instantly selling out during any restock. Most options so far, sans the "Enflame Orange" and "Glow Green," have stuck to the earth tone palette Yeezy is so famous for. Though we were set to receive the "Azure" colorway prior to the split between adidas and Ye, the pair will be releasing alongside various models on May 31.
Inspired by Japanese sandals, the one-piece molded EVA foam gets completely covered in an Azure shade of blue, coming texturized like all-new colorways of the Slide have been since the Ochre release. Minimalistic branding lands on the heel of the footbed with a Three Stripes logo while “Yeezy” text and sizing info are debossed underneath the forefoot strap. Underfoot, the outsole utilizes a V-shaped groove pattern for optimal flexibility and traction.
The adidas Yeezy Slide Azure will release alongside a slew of Yeezy sneakers on May 31. Expect the drop to go down on either adidas Confirmed or adidas.com/yeezy. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $70.
