The Air Jordan 1 is a legend that requires no introduction. Debuting in 1985, it represents Michael Jordan's inaugural NBA season and the start of his illustrious career. Fast forward to today, and Jordan Brand continues to innovate while maintaining the rich heritage of the AJ1. Bringing modern-day comfort to the nearly 40-year-old sneaker, Jordan Brand introduced the Zoom CMFT and is now onto the second iteration of this redesign. Now, the model has been spotted in a “Legend Coffee” colorway.
This iteration of the AJ1 features Zoom Air cushioning and Formula23 foam, two of Jordan Brand and Nike's most cutting-edge technologies. A mixed-material upper sports a blend of suede, mesh, and synthetic textures. Sail-hued synthetic material on the toebox and quarter panel contrasts the tan suede accents on the mudguard, eyestays, collar overlay, and heel. Along the midfoot, a Swoosh-shaped cutout reveals a brown mesh layer underneath. The tongue boasts the Zoom Air logo in a matching brown, while the collar flaunts the Jordan Wings logo in a crisp white. Capping off the design, a sail midsole houses the Zoom Air cushioning, paired with a brown rubber and Formula23 foam outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 Legend Coffee will release in February 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
