The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT was centered around creating one of the most comfortable basketball shoes in the market. First released back in 2020, while Jordan purists shunned the silhouette's unconventional aesthetics, there was no hiding the fact that this model balanced cushioning and support perfectly. With that said, it looks like the Michael Jordan-helmed label could be about to release a sequel in the form of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 "University Blue" - and here's absolutely everything that we know so far.
Painted in the legendary "University Blue" colorway which pays homage to His Airness' alma mater, these Jordans work on top of a crisp phantom base while suede university blue and ice blue panels wrap around the rest of the upper. The quality of this material is now higher than ever, meaning you can break in these sneakers so much easier than before. A cut-out Nike Swoosh shoots through the sidewalls, while fiery gym red Zoom branding can be found on the tongue as a nod to the Zoom Air midsole, which is now housed in Jordan Brand's newly-developed Formula 23 foam cushioning, giving the response and overall feel a massive overhaul.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 University Blue W is set to release in January 2023. Dropping at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan retailers both online and in-store, these will come in women's exclusive sizes and will retail for $150.
