Although in recent times many of the most sought-after Jordan Brand releases are sitting in stores, China has been a pivotal part of the explosive growth of the basketball-focused brand. Following the same theme as the upcoming Air Jordan 12 Low "Greater China," the latest Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT is appearing in a celebratory “25 Years In China” colorway.
Fresh out of the box, the silhouette comes in a two-tone mix of white with hints of royal blue found throughout, though once worn down, the white paint will reveal an all-over royal blue base. Standard build details remain with the perforated leather toebox, tonal stitching details, and branding coming via the cut-out Nike Swoosh and Wings logo on the midfoot and collar respectively. Running up the tongue is a set of white flat laces, reaching just below the Zoom Air branded tag on the right pair while the left features the special Jumpman graphic with “25” written in a font similar to that found on the AJ 11. Just below the exposed foam collar, a Zoom Air tag is stitched atop the multicolor insole. Underfoot, the white Zoom Air cushioned midsole is paired with a multicolor trimmed blue rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 25 Years In China is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
