Jordan Brand's expansion into the golfing world has been met with great enthusiasm from sneakerheads and golf enthusiasts. Despite rumors of Nike potentially losing one of its most iconic golfers, Tiger Woods, Jordan Brand continues to innovate and bring new styles to the golf course. The brand is set to release the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf in a Black Gum colorway to kick off 2024.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Black Gum is an exemplary fusion of classic Jordan aesthetics and golf-specific functionality. The upper of this AJ1 Low features black water-resistant leather, ideal for golfers who play in varied weather conditions. This leather is used in the overlays and underlays, providing a sleek and unified look. What sets this pair apart is the faint splatter pattern on the overlays, adding a subtle flair to the classic black colorway.
The Swoosh is rendered in a contrasting grey finish, which complements the black leather and accentuates the splatter pattern. Branding on this model includes a Jordan Golf tongue tag, an insole stamp, and a debossed Wings logo on the heel. The sole unit is where the golf adaptation shines – a white midsole offers cushioning and support. At the same time, the spike-less gum rubber outsole provides the necessary traction and stability on the golf course.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Black Gum will release on January 19, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Golf retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the pair will retail for $150.
