The Air Jordan 1 has been a canvas for all types of iterations, materials, themes, and more. It doesn't matter if it's the AJ 1 high, mid, or low; Jordan Brand finds ways to reimagine the classic silhouette steadily. Many themes have graced the low-top iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low, including holiday themes, Sneaker School (SS) editions, and more. Next up for the AJ 1 Low is a special edition pair inspired by Polaroid film.
This Air Jordan 1 Low is a women's exclusive exclusive and comes in a photon dust, aurora green, anthracite, and glacier blue colorway. The upper comprises grey premium wrinkled leather and a nylon tongue. Aurora Green highlights the toe, Swoosh on the sides, and back heel in shiny patent leather. More of this hue dresses the laces and the Jumpman logo on the anthracite grey-colored tongue tag. More anthracite is found via the midsole, which sits atop a translucent gum outsole. The Polaroid theme comes into play on the custom-printed insoles. Each depicts the classic Air Jordan Skyline image, with one in full color and the other in a CMYK style, mimicking the process of the photo coming into focus as the picture slowly appears on the film.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Polaroid W will release on November 7, 2024, via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, retail is set at $125.
