Dating back to 1985, the Air Jordan 1 is the sneaker that genuinely began the enthusiasm we see today for footwear. Since its inception during MJ’s rookie season, the model has undergone various iterations, from cuts like the Low and Mid to women’s exclusive versions like the Elevate and MM. One moniker that gets attached to unique pairs of the AJ 1 is “SE” (special edition), usually denoting the pair features something unique compared to standard Jordan 1s. Following up on this Springs two-pack of Air Jordan 1 Low SE Canvas colorways, the Fall will feature a “Team Gold” colorway.
Like the “Celestial Gold” and “Light Steel Grey” colorways, the model retains the typical AJ 1 Low DNA with canvas materials covering its overlays. These panels come to us in a clean team gold shade on the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel, while the toebox, tongue, and quarter panel feature hits of sail leather. Tonal team gold laces match the overlays while branding details, seen on the Jumpman logo atop the tongue and canvas Swoosh on the midfoot, follow suit with this color. The Jordan Wings logo embroidered on the heel finishes the branding hits, while the partially recycled sail midsole and team gold rubber outsole complete the look.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Canvas Team Gold W will be released in Fall 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Releasing exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
