Oh, what it must be like to be a little sneakerhead these days. Back then, you'd be lucky if you had a pair of branded sneakers. But nowadays, companies like Jordan Brand are making it their mission to drop some of the coolest kids-exclusives that we've ever seen. After checking out the "Hide N' Sneaks" and "Strawberries & Cream" earlier this season, we're now taking our very first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low SE "Citron Pulse Glacier Ice." Dropping as a part of Jumpman's Summer 2023 line-up, these have an environmentally-friendly trick up its sleeve.
Arriving in a warm weather-ready color scheme, this Air Jordan 1 Low works on top of a crisp white leather base while yellow citron pulse overlays wrap around the lacing system, toe, and back. The sockliner is painted in glacier ice, and this light blue hue extends towards the Swooshes, where you'll find a multicolored effect that comes from being crafted from Nike's sustainable Grind rubber. This eco-conscious material is made from recycled scraps that are usually discarded during the manufacturing process, in hopes that less waste will go to landfill. More Grind can also be found along the Air midsole underfoot, and to round it all off, the insole is painted in a bold green, finalizing the vibrant color palette.
As mentioned already, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE Citron Pulse Glacier Ice GS will drop exclusively in gradeschool sizes when they release in Summer 2023. Launching at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan retailers both online and in-store, retail will be $95 a pop.
