Jordan Brand has an affinity for releasing a series of sneakers that fall under the same theme, whether that be from the infamous “Countdown Pack” to the newly conceived “Reimagined” line. Another line of releases that has graced the Jordan lineup in the last few years, the “Craft,” has brought a DIY-like aesthetic with mismatched materials and new construction for some of the models it’s taken over like the upcoming AJ 2 Low Craft “Atmosphere.” Continuing to add these vibes to more models, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE Craft has appeared in a “Cement Grey” color scheme.
A combination of tech grey, black, cement grey, and sail take over the low-top silhouette with suede and canvas acting as the primary materials. Inverting the typical construction of the toebox and mudguard, Jordan Brand stitches a canvas material to the toe to make it sit above the mudguard, unlike your normal AJ 1 Low, with the duo coming in a two-tone shade of grey. Working up to the eyestays, the bottommost overlay comes split between grey and black with the laces it holds in place also borrowing the black color scheme. More grey hits take over the tongue and quarter panel while a secondary shade of grey appears on the collar and Swoosh branding. Back on the heel sits a black canvas, rounding out the look of the upper with the entire design completed via a sail midsole and grey rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Craft Cement Grey is set to release Fall 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $120 and $95 respectively.
