The "Shattered Backboard" has got to be one of the most iconic Air Jordan 1 colorways in history. First coined back in 1985 when Michael Jordan was playing an exhibition game in Trieste, Italy, he dunked so hard that the glass of the backboard completely shattered, and the rest is history. To pay homage to this historical event, the Air Jordan 1 Low "Team Orange Black" has been officially revealed.
Also nicknamed the "Halloween" by some sneakerheads, this Air Jordan 1 Low features a full leather construction. The base is crafted from a sail leather, while patent black panels wrap around the front, back, and lacing system. Team Orange hues set the tongue, toebox, and sockliner alight, and to round it all off, a fiery Swoosh shoots through the laterals and medials for that world-renowned AJ 1 aesthetic. This is all finished off with the winged basketball emblem that's finely stamped around the heel.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Team Orange Black GS is set to release in Spring 2023. It will drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan retailers both online and in-store.
