With a rich history, the Air Jordan 1 has been a canvas for some of the most iconic combinations of colors like the classic “Chicago” or “Bred” colorways. Sometimes, but rarely, the sneaker appears in the monochromatic form, as seen on the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Triple Black.”
Transferring the “black Air Force 1 energy” to the AJ 1 Low, the entire leather and mesh upper gets covered in a singular shade of black while keeping its iconic details intact. Smooth leather details take over the various panels found on and around the toe, midfoot, and heel, while the mesh tongue and lace set follow suit a keep the monochromatic theme strong. Branding details like the embroidered Jumpman atop the tongue, Nike Swoosh along the midfoot, and Jordan Wings logo on the heel stay in line with the rest of the design's all-black look. Underfoot, a black-on-black rubber midsole and outsole complete the look.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Triple Black is set to release on September 27th, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store.
