Originally released in 2007, the Jordan 1 Mid XQ AKA "Xing Qi" was limited to 240 pairs and only made available in mainland China. Six years later, the Jordan 1 High XQ AKA "Shanghai Ignite" released in a similar fashion - low stock and distributed exclusively in China. Given its low stock and limited distribution, the Jordan 1 XQ is considered by many as one of the rarest Jordans of all time.
2022 may change all of that, the Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ is set to release for a third time. The 2022 version of the Jordan 1 Mid most closely resembles its 2007 mid-cut predecessor featuring the original white, gold, red, and black color blocking juxtaposed by red dragon inspired stitching throughout the upper. It also sports the Jumpman tongue tag like pair released in 2007.
