Jordan Brand experimented with more elevated takes on its classic Air Jordan 1 model in 2024 with the Method of Make series, introducing both high and low-top variants. While all AJ 1 Low MMs that have hit shelves so far have taken on textured leather uppers with metallic Swoosh details, Spring 2025 will introduce a satin-covered variant. For the first look at this new rendition, we see the model cast in an Earth color scheme.
Across all the paneling, we see a deep brown, almost burgundy shade Jordan Brand dubs Earth, taking over the satin material. Even though most of the upper is found in this single material, the different panels of the upper are separated via stitching details. This makes the sneaker look like a normal AJ 1 Low with a mudguard, eyestay, toebox, midfoot, and heel overlay.
Earth hues continue onto the cotton lace set and rest below the stamped Air Jordan text atop the tongue. As for the rest of the branding details, we see the Swoosh integrated into the midfoot via a stitching outline and a stamped Jordan Wings logo on the heel tab. The tonal rubber midsole and outsole finish the design and contain Zoom Air and Formula 23 cushioning.
The Air Jordan 1 MM Low Satin Earth W will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $135.
