Sneakerheads have always clamored for OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High. The last release came in the form of the “Lost & Found” edition, a new take on the “Chicago” that added aged details and special packaging to mimic a vintage pair from 1985. This was a part of the “Reimagined” series, a new initiative by Jordan Brand to bring us classic releases with special twists. Now adding to this “Reimagined” line, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royal is set to hit shelves during Holiday 2023.
Taking on the classic colorblocking of the “Royal” from 1985, the AJ1 will remain unchanged in terms of its black, royal blue, and white color scheme, however, the upper replaces the usual leather makeup for an all-over suede finish. Other than this, the same colorblocking from the OG is present with royal blue placed on the toebox, Swoosh, heel, and collar while black hits are found on the mudguard, quarter panel, tongue, and collar underlay. Underfoot, a white AJ1 midsole gets paired with a royal blue rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Reimagined Royal is set to release on November 4th, 2023 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $180 (men's), $140 (GS), $85 (TD), and $70 (PS).
