Despite a noticeable dip in the frenzy surrounding the Jordan 1s, Jordan Brand continues to innovate and excite with new iterations that keep the silhouette fresh and appealing. As some anticipated releases like the Olive Jordan 1 High and the Metallic Mocha Jordan 1 Low '85 face delays and uncertainties, the brand redirects attention to the upcoming Summer 2025 lineup with a women's exclusive that hopefully can reignite interest: The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Rare Air Sail Cinnabar.
Seen here in an early images, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sail Cinnabar features a carefully selected mix of neutral and vibrant tones. Most of the upper sports sail leather, contrasted by the light bone suede details on the Swoosh and collar underlay. Raw edges around the leather add to the vintage look of the model, with cinnabar accents coming via the Jordan Wings logo along the collar and the extra lace set. On the medial side, a modified Jordan Wings logo is present, now featuring Nike Air branding instead of Air Jordan. A small pop of blue is present on the tongue tag, with the sockliner and tongue surrounding it taking on more neutral hues. Rounding out the look is the sail midsole and outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Rare Air Sail Cinnabar W was originally set to be released on January 18, 2025. After a delay, they will drop in April 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. It will be available in women’s sizing for $180, with preschool and toddler sizes priced at $85 and $70, respectively.
