In September 2022, we were blessed with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Taxi." A pair most sneakerheads waited for since its initial leak months prior. With its classic "Black Toe" design, paired with taxi yellow accents, these AJ 1s were an instant cop for most, even with the hype of the sneaker dying down. Even after the highly coveted "Lost & Found" releasing in November of last year, there's still some must-have AJ 1s releasing in the future, which goes well into Fall 2023.
In March of 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "University Blue" came and went. It quickly became one of the most sought after non-OG colorways, even garnering a decent resale value on secondary markets. University Blue accents pair with Air Jordan's just as much as "Red" does. So it's no surprise that we will be seeing another "University Blue" edition of the AJ 1 High, fresh for 2023. Nicknamed the "University Blue Toe" edition, this pair keeps the classic "Black Toe" design, but adds university blue accents in place of the yellow seen on this year's "Taxi" release. As mentioned above, this pair will drop as a part of Jordan Brand's Fall 2023 Retro Footwear Lineup.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG University Blue Toe is set to release on July 22nd, 2023. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming full-family sizing, men's pairs will retail for $180.
