While Chris Paul may be entering the twilight years of his career and has had his signature sneaker with Jordan Brand shelved, he still receives love from the house MJ built. Following up on his previous player-exclusive pair gifted for his recent college graduation, CP3 will get his own Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG colorway.
First reported on by mrunloved1s and brandon1an, we can also confirm that the pair will be releasing. CP3's iteration of the AJ1 Low features textured leather across its mudguard, eyestays, quarter panel, and heel overlay, all of which feature an intricate floral embroidery in a tonal light cream hue. Sail shades take over the nappy suede toebox, tongue, Swoosh, and heel overlay. The coveted Nike Air branding atop the tongue continues the sail hues and rests atop a white tag. On the reverse of this detail sits the phrase "Give Them Flowers," referencing recognizing someone's achievements. Rounding out the look is a sail midsole and a semi-translucent clear outsole that hosts a graphic print containing flowers.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Chris Paul is set to release on October 24, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
