For Fall 2024, Jordan Brand is looking to pay homage to Michael Jordan's playing days with the Birmingham Barons. While some say he should've never left basketball or was forced out, Michael traded in his sneakers for cleats for a year and a half before returning to the game he dominated. To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of MJ's time with the Barons, JB is releasing another round of footwear tying back to the team's colors. Along with an Air Jordan 12 Retro, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG will also be a part of this collection.
Dubbed the Wolf Grey, this Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG comes in a Barons-inspired white, black, and wolf grey colorway. The all-leather upper features white underlays paired with black accents via the Swoosh, laces, and heel tab. We see wolf grey hues placed on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel for the rest of the overlays. More grey hits are placed on the Nike Air branding atop the tongue, while the sockliner and insole come in grey and black, respectively. Rounding out the look is the white rubber midsole and grey outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Wolf Grey will release on July 20, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
