Ever since Michael Jordan graced the court and the silver screen in the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam, the sneaker has been widely considered one of the greatest of all time. While we didn't get an original release for this colorway in the 90s, it was a part of Jordan Brand's first retro run of the Air Jordan 11 that began in 2000. By popular demand, it was re-released in 2009 and more recently in 2016. For Summer 2024, get ready for the return of the Space Jam iteration of the AJ 11, with a twist. This time, it will be making its debut in low-top form!
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Space Jam edition will come in a black, varsity royal, and white colorway. It does away with the concord purple accents seen on MJ's original PE and the 2016 release. Instead, this purple is replaced by varsity royal, a shade featured on both the 2000 and 2009 releases. Staying true to the OG cut, higher patent leather is used on this pair, following a trend seen on the Legend Blue and Cement Grey pairs, as well as the upcoming Midnight Navy. It will also feature mesh on the upper, a white midsole, and an icy blue translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Space Jam was originally set to release on April 13, 2024. They will now release on May 18 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $190, $150, $80, and $60, respectively.
