Its hard to follow-up arguably the greatest sneaker of all-time, but the Air Jordan 12 did just that. Originally released from 1996-97, MJ laced up his twelfth signature sneaker en route to his 5th NBA championship and second back-to-back title run with the Chicago Bulls. While black and red are synonymous with this silhouette, Jordan Brand intends to sway you in a different direction for Fall 2023.
Coming in a colorway that mimics something Mike Bibby would've worn during his time playing with the Sacramento Kings, this all-new Air Jordan 12 Retro comes in a clean black, field purple, metallic gold, and taxi colorway. Mirroring the "Flu Games," this pair sports a black-based leather upper with purple accents in place of the traditional red.
Originally set to release July 29th, the Air Jordan 12 Retro Field Purple will now release August 12th, 2023. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $200 for men.
