The Air Jordan 12 Retro is set to have another strong year in 2025. After seeing the Cherry edition in October 2023, the Flu Game pair is returning for Spring 2025, now, another coveted pair, the Melo edition has been added to Jordan Brand's Summer 2025 lineup. Elden Monitors and House of Heat first reported the news.
Initially released in 2004 as a women's exclusive and then a quickstrike in men's sizing, the Air Jordan 12 Retro Melo was originally a player-exclusive colorway for Carmelo Anthony and the UNC Tar Heels for the 2003-04 season. In an update, Sole Retriever can confirm that the 2025 re-release is set to be faithful to the original, coming in white, university blue, and metallic silver. The leather upper is white, highlighted by metallic silver accents via the top eyelets. University Blue comes into play via the branding on the tongue, back heel patch, pull tab, and solid rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Melo is set to release in June 2025. They will be available via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $200 (men), $150 (GS), $90 (PS), and $75 (TD), respectively. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay up to date on other future releases.
