The Air Jordan 14. Initially released from 1998-1999 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, it drew inspiration from the Ferrari 550 M. While we saw numerous colorways released during that time and for years to follow after the AJ 14 first retroed in 2005, it wasn't until 2014 that things came full circle. A Ferrari edition of the Air Jordan 14 Retro was released that year in Challenge Red, serving as a direct call back to the car behind the design. A follow-up in University Gold came in 2019; since then, both pairs have been highly sought after. For Summer 2025, Jordan Brand is bringing back the original Air Jordan 14 Retro Ferrari in all its glory.
The 2025 Air Jordan 14 Retro Ferrari comes in the same challenge red, black, vibrant yellow, and anthracite colorway as its predecessor. The specs have been updated to be the closest to the original Air Jordan 14 shape from the late 90s, much like the upcoming Black Toe release slated for November. The one-piece upper is covered in premium red suede with black via the tongue, laces, back heel, and lining. Accents in yellow are found on the Jumpman badge on the ankle, Jordan branding and plastic pull tab on the tongue, and the branding on the back heel. Carbon fiber covers the foam portions of the midsole with a chrome grill shank plate. A solid black rubber outsole finishes off the design for this AJ 14.
The Air Jordan 14 Retro Ferrari is set to release in June 2025. They will be available via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $210 and $160, respectively. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay up to date on other future releases.
