When the Air Jordan 23 was originally released in 2008, it was very well received. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and thought to be the final signature sneaker in the Air Jordan line, it has gone down as one of the best silhouettes of all-time. While the line continues on, with the Air Jordan 37 on the way this fall, the AJ 23 is set for another retro release.
In honor of the Year of the Rabbit, Jordan Brand is set to drop a limited edition Air Jordan 23 Retro. Celebrating the 2023 Chinese New Year, it will come in a light silver, challenge red, ivory, metallic gold, and white colorway. The sneaker boasts an all-leather upper, split between light silver and white. Small hits of gold are complemented by custom logos on the tongue (inside and out), as well as on the red insoles. Each pair comes in special packaging to further the premium vibes.
The Air Jordan 23 Retro Chinese New Year is set to release in Spring 2023. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $260. Check out our Jordan release calendar, and keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
