The latest Air Jordan signature sneaker has been somewhat of a sleeper. It did not get an official rollout and even though it debuted with various limited editions, we haven’t heard much from the Air Jordan 36. A “Sunset” colorway was supposed to be released in the beginning of 2022 and we still are awaiting that stateside. The good news is that an all-new colorway of the AJ 36 is officially set to drop, inspired by the classic Air Jordan 6.
Coming in black and infrared 23, this pair pays tribute to the OG “Black Infrared” AJ 6. Sporting a blacked out upper with subtle hits of infrared 23. The benefits of the Air Jordan 36 include: a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit stitched directly to the upper, 2-loop band system paired with high sidewalls and flexible tongue. On the cushioning side of things, a hollowed-out section between the midsole and out helps reduce weight and exposes the stabilizing shank plate, stacked Zoom Air underneath the forefoot and a multidirectional pattern on the bottom of the fully icy translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 36 Black Infrared 23 is set to release on March 31st, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s and GS (gradeschool) sizes with men’s pairs retailing for $185. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
