Jordan Brand has plenty to work with in terms of inspiration from Michael Jordan as his illustrious career and pop culture moments have gifted us colorways like the infamous “Space Jam” inspired by the movie starring MJ and the Looney Tunes crew. Another pop culture moment for MJ was his 1993 McDonald’s commercial starring him and Larry Byrd playing a game of horse with his outfit inspiring a Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 7 “Nothing But Net” colorway. Now, this same design is heading to the latest signature silhouette from Jordan Brand - the Air Jordan 37 Low.
Taking on shades of black throughout its AJ 7-inspired design, the tongue features colorful hits reminiscent of the 90s-style jacket MJ rocked in the previously mentioned commercial while shades of blue and red land on the lace set and below the Leno-Weave midfoot panel respectively. TPU and neoprene overlays help secure your foot in place around the upper and continue the all-black look while the heel gets a hit of white and red via the Jumpman logo and MJs signature. Underfoot sits a white midsole with a black semi-translucent portion landing on the heel paired with a multi-color AJ 7-like rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 37 Low Nothing But Net is set to release on May 4th, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $175.
