Considering its history is so closely connected to performance basketball, the continued release of numerical Air Jordan models only makes sense as technology in the footwear space improves year-in-year-out. For their latest iteration, the Air Jordan 37, Jordan Brand has taken heavy inspiration from the iconic AJ 7 silhouette throughout its design and has so far only released in its high-top form. While we did get a glimpse at the Air Jordan 37 Low courtesy of Jayson Tatum over the summer, we’re now getting a detailed look at the first colorway of the Air Jordan 37 Low to release.
Coming to us in white, black, and siren red, the sneaker keeps things simple with its mainly black and white color scheme accented slightly by the aforementioned siren red shade. White fused overlays throughout the upper help reinforce the black Leno-Weave mesh spotted on the cutouts around the toe and midfoot while the tongue and toebox come in a neoprene-like material. Perforations are present across the tongue where a set of tonal white laces work toward the Jumpman logo embroidered in black, seen on a leather panel up top. Along the collar, we get a deep black shade that contrasts well with the siren red sockliner, matching the color scheme of the nylon pull tab and its MJ branding details. Underfoot, a full-length Zoom Strobel unit is encased by white foam and a clear rubber overlay on the heel while the design is rounded out by the black, white, and siren red AJ7-inspired rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 37 Low White Black Siren Red is set to release on January 9th, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $175.
